How To Know Your Season | Community
What season is God leading you through: wilderness, community, or bold action? In this message, Trevor is exploring why Christian community is not optional and how God uses relationships to protect what He develops within us during wilderness seasons. Through the life of Jesus, Ecclesiastes 4, Galatians 6, and the story of Jonathan and his armor bearer in 1 Samuel 13 and 14, we discover the difference between having people around us and having people who are truly with us.
This sermon addresses biblical friendship, vulnerability, isolation, trusting people again, bearing one another’s burdens, and finding the right people to help us face life’s mountains. Whether your mountain is grief, anxiety, broken trust, financial pressure, loneliness, health struggles, forgiveness, or taking the next step God has placed before you, you were never meant to climb it alone. Sometimes God answers our prayers by placing the right people beside us. You may not need six hundred people around you. You may simply need one person who can honestly say, “I’m with you, heart and soul.”
