Tell God How You Feel
Many of us struggle to articulate our feelings, feeling weak or unsure of where to start. That's why we encourage you to turn to the Psalms for guidance, such as Psalm 31:9-10, where the writer pours out their heart to God in times of anguish and weariness.
Express all your emotions to God - He can handle your complaints, frustrations, doubts, fears, and more. Invite Him into your feelings, knowing that He is not afraid of them.
Remember, after expressing your emotions, receive God's comfort as mentioned in Matthew 5:4. Allow His presence, His word, and His people to bring you solace and strength.
Escape is the enemy of comfort. Instead of running away from your feelings, run towards God who offers true comfort and healing. Let Him be your source of peace and restoration.
As we close, let's remember the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3-5, reminding us that God is the Father of tender mercy and endless comfort. Through our union with Christ, we can experience His abundant comfort and share it with others.
Join us in embracing the journey of expressing your emotions to God and receiving His comforting embrace. Remember, His praise shall continually be in our mouths.
