Contrary to an everlasting battery, even our phones possess a finite energy source that needs replenishing. In a similar vein, humans also require a source of rejuvenation – just like the power source for our devices.
Today we see how this extends to the point that our constant usage of phones depletes their batteries, rendering them unusable until recharged. Similarly, envision yourself as a battery that needs recharging; the comparison underlines the necessity of self-care.
This is where the concept of the Sabbath day finds its relevance, a day of rest advocated by God to ensure we become the finest versions of ourselves.
